Like The Beatles, Michael Jackson's career has gone through many distinct phases.  There is the young boy genius when he was 11 singing with the soul of a 35 year old man.  There is his hey day with the Thriller album when everyone couldn't get enough of him.  But unlike The Beatles who quit while they were on top,  the last phase of Jackson's career has seen record sales sour and his public image take a horrifying turn into the bizarre.
