The Rising Milky Way
The is a time lapse video of the summer Milky Way rising over
the Spacewatch 1.8-meter telescope. The Milky Way is
one of billions of galaxies in the observable universe, but this
one has special significance to humanity as it
is the home galaxy of the planet Earth.
