The Beatles were one of the first groups to make short films for music (you could say they set the ground work for what would become MTV). Sure Elvis is given some credit for his 'Jailhouse Rock' video - but that was just a clip taken from a movie.
This clip shows two early Beatle music videos back-to-back, Paperback Writer and Rain. Neither of these songs appeared on a Beatles album - accept for later releases of greatest hits or past masters. If you look closely, you will notice Paul McCartney has a chipped tooth. You can find the lyrics to the songs here:
