Charlie Chaplin Hollow Head Illusion
This is an excellent and simple
optical illusion using Charlie Chaplin's
face. A distinguished elderly gentleman guides us through the
effect and even adds philosophical observations relevant to real
life, proving reality can be deceiving.
As the face turns around it will appear to have changed
direction and the nose which in reality sticks in now seems to
stick out. The brain refuses to see the face as hollow and
corrects the image to provide the illusion for us because it's
so unlikely that the nose would stick in.
