Les Kiriki Short Film - Video

There’s stepping into the way-back machine, and then there’s Les Kiriki: Acrobates Japonaises, a goofy little short clip from 1907. French director Segundo de Chomón directed some 125 short films between 1902 and 1917, specializing in the wierd and the wonderful.

This particular short features a pretty transparent trick, but it’s still pretty cool. de Chomón also specialized in adding color to his films, which is pretty damn cool as well.
