A Mirror Made Completely of Wood
This mirror is made completely of wood, controlled by a
camera and computer. The mirror is made up of 830 square pieces
of wood, 830 servo motors, control electronics, video camera,
computer, and a wooden frame. This piece explores the line between
digital and physical, using a warm and natural material such as
wood to portray the abstract notion of digital pixels.
Now I wonder what would happen if you put a mirror facing
it - something recursive I hope.
