Jim Morrison, lead singer of The Doors, was arrested once for exposing his private parts in concert. Whether he did or not, his actions were very suggestive in front of the audience and the entire band wound up in court. One of the more funny moments of the trial was when Ray Manzarek (The Doors keyboard player) was asked if Jim Morrison exposed his 'organ' in concert - Manzarek's reply was "no your honor - but I play the organ". This is an interesting time piece (1969) interview with Jim Morrison, The Lizard King, and it may be the first time a rock star used the 'status quo' line "...artist freedom of expression...".
