The Apple Lisa Computer - Video

The Apple Lisa Computer

The Apple Lisa Computer

The Apple Lisa was a revolutionary personal computer (although very expensive) designed at Apple Computer in the early 1980s. The Lisa project was started at Apple in 1978, but after Steve Jobs visited  Xerox PARC and saw the Alto, the Lisa slowly evolved into a project to design a powerful personal computer with a graphical user interface (GUI) that would be targeted toward business customers.

Steve Jobs was eventually forced off of the Lisa project but then led the Macintosh project.

This commercial shows a young Kevin Costner using the Lisa and the original one-button mouse as well.  The Alto mouse had three buttons.

Take a look at the first GUI Computer.
